|This is my first time posting on this site. I have a story I'd like to share with you in hopes that someone has had a similar experience or might know what has happened to my friend.
In December of last year, I decided to take LSD and head to the beach with my girlfriend and friend who we will call Swim, who were both sober sitters for me. This was my 7th or 8th time taking LSD and I had taken the same tabs previously, so I knew how they would affect me. I'll start by saying that I have experienced bad and good trips, and I am able to keep myself grounded during bad trips. So we are heading to the beach and I start to feel the acid and it starts messing with my stomach and I'm tripping hard. We get there and lay down a blanket to sit on and look at the waves.
We start talking and all of a sudden my friend Swim starts saying things that seem off to me. I'm in my head because of the acid thinking that I'm just tripping and imagining her saying these things. She was bringing up all kinds of negative things about herself in a way that just wasn't how Swim talks or acts. Then something unexplainable happens and my whole trip turns sinister.
I am looking at Swim, and all of a sudden my vision does a snapshot like a camera taking a picture, the whole scenery goes gray and shifts down slightly, I felt like I was entering an alternate universe, and that's the best way I can describe that. For the rest of my trip, Swim was acting and saying things that made me feel like she was trying to kill me or keep me stuck in the alternate universe, and I felt she was trying to plot my girlfriend against me. This whole time I'm in my head because I don't know how to tell my girlfriend to get me away from Swim, while Swim is there, so I am stuck with Swim for the entirety of my trip. Once we return home, I start to calm down but am still shaken and unable to understand how my sober friend could be so evil during my trip.
